Recap: 2019 Summer League

Last weekend our 2019 Summer League came to an end as five weeks of basketball led to some seriously exciting games.

In the Mini League, it was the Whales who pipped the Dolphins to the top spot thanks to two wins on the final weekend.

The Intermediate League saw just one win separate all three teams. In the end, the Cobras and Pythons had to settle for third and second place respectively that to them winning the head to head. The Vipers stayed one win ahead to take first place.

The Junior League saw each team take turns to led the table, with results on the final week being crucial in determining the league standings. A win in the opening game for the Monsters meant that it was down to the Giants to decide who would be crowned champions. AS they won both games, this meant the Monsters would remain top and take the Junior League title.

With all leagues not being decided into the final week the action remained great throughout all five weeks. Congratulations to all who took part and many thanks to the supporters along the side line and to all the coached who led the teams.
